Wobbly L185 seat. Normal?

First, the seat pan on my L185 is stress cracked and adds to the wobble. The pan will get welded, but the seat mount linage is, I think worn significantly and allows the seat to rock side to side, front to back beyond what I think it is supposed to do. The diagram online at Kubota is difficult to see for me, and won't center on my computer screen when enlarged. I went looking there to see if something is missing or other. Like perhaps tension springs?
Is the wobble normal? The only cushioning mechanism under the seat on my tractor is a set of rubber discs on which the lower hinge leaf sets. Could someone tell me if there's more supposed to be there? I'll photograph it later in the day and post hopefully. I can tighten somewhat with larger diameter seat hinge pins I also believe, and plan to do that.Thank you. Don.

It does appear I'm missing two seat springs. With me at 300 pounds I have doubts about two springs supporting me. I may instead find a piece of bumper guard type stiff industrial rubber, or several layers of tire tread and fab a cushioning spring. Thanks again. Don.

I've fixed the seat hinge mechanism to my satisfaction using newblack oxide coated 10mm X 110 mm socket head cap screws, washers and nylock nuts. Greased the bolts, bolt channels and washer faces. There's now about .2mm play at the bolts which feels just right. I will pick up some tractor-trailer thrown tire tread off the interstate soon and use cuts of the the rubber to make hinge bumper cushions for the hinge leafs. Now to the rust rotted seat pan. That would be appreciated. I plan to obtain some tire retread rubber (thrown recap piece) from the interstate and cut a small section to fit under and cushion the lower hinge leaf, and to fabricate some pieces to replace the aged rubber pads from the factory. It's a good hard but cushioning rubber I've learned.I'd like to see the factory spring setup some time. Don

Here are some pictures trying to show the suspension but it is really under the mounting.

Standing on this plate (~200 pounds) I have to "jump" up to make this move very much.




The nut adjusts the spring tension and makes for softer/harsher ride.
