I have a 60" pin-on bucket for the LA525 loader (L3301) that I would like to sell or trade for an SSQA bucket of the same width.

I'm in southeast Indiana, and we can work out delivery or delivery/pickup. The bucket is straight and has 2 bolt-on chain hooks.

Looking for $350 or nearest offer.

Edit: I cut the pin-on plates off the bucket and welded an SSQA plate to it.

If you find a buyer outside of a scrapyard, or a use for that bucket, please inform me as I have the same bucket that I no longer need.

I cut the pin-on mount plates off with a plasma cutter and welded an SSQA adapter plate onto the bucket. It was a lot cheaper than buying an SSQA bucket.

I have the same bucket and have been looking to either cut off all the pin mounts or sell it. On the fence. How easy was it to cut off all the brackets with the plasma cutter? And do you have any photos you mind sharing?

I didn't find any takers for my bucket. Cutting the pin-on mounts off with a plasma cutter went pretty well, but you have to be careful cutting off the horizontal brace because you can easily cut through the bucket.

I didn't take any photos while we were cutting it apart, but I'll guess it was about 45 minutes +/-. I welded the SSQA adapteer plate directly onto the bucket. We cut some holes in the adapter plate so we could get more inches of weld between the bucket and the plate. I lost a little bit of curl angle since I didn't try to angle the plate to match the pin-on angle. So far that hasn't been an issue.

The adapter plate was about $150, plus some welding expenses. A lot cheaper than buying an SSQA bucket, so I went that route. SSQA is a very useful feature, I'm glad I added it.

That is what I was thinking when looking at cutting them off, you'd have to be careful not to cut through the bucket. I just recently put on an aftermarket SSQA adaptor for my 3901. I have buckets for my skidsteer, but they are too big (they weigh about 600lbs) to use for the tractor. I can use them but I just have to be careful about weight. I do like the cutting holes for more welding surface. Great idea!
