Sniff one of them and report back. Would be interested...

Actually, thinking that most of the WW fluid I bought has a high percent alcohol, I think anyway, I wonder if the daughter did not buy the type that is used in potable RV water systems, and different than standard WW fluid.
That stuff doesn’t smell to bad. I filled my rear tires with it and use It every fall in my camper.

I have 80 gallons of -20F WW fluid that I bought 10+ years ago and have never used.
I too purchase my WW fluid in 'bulk' at WallyMart (once a year 25% off everything...usually have 2 carts full of stuff... motor oil, filters, paper products, canned soup, cleaning products...etc)

However, I only buy the orange "RainX" brand and it lasts over a year sitting in my dirt-floor basement.

To be -20F WWF must contain a meaningful amount of alcohol/methanol, and thus is not likely to spoil.
Can't sniff test mine now though, as I am 1,500 miles away (FL) until the beginning of May..
I also do know though, from personal experience, that the (pink) non toxic RV antifreeze has a LONG shelf life.

I think your thinking of plumbing antifreeze. And pretty hard to mix up I think. I’ve never herd of WW fluid being used in or for an RV water systems. If your anyplace near cold weather just run the minus weather stuff year round. It will still work in the summer. Contrary to it sawing for winter use. Live outside the box it’s exciting.
On another note the only thing I’d buy for my truck or vehicles from Wally mart would be an air freshener lol. I hope that was another lesson you mentioned to your daughter.
