I am in dire need of a window regulator (K7731-29600) It is for a 2018 RTV-X1100CR. I have spent many hours searching online
aftermarket websites and have checked with Kubota dealers all over the continental U.S. If anyone can put me
in touch with someone that has one, I would owe you a lifetime of thanks. Thank you!!

When I called them, they said their quantity was off and it's on backorder with no time frame on when it will be in stock. :)

that is not the first or second or third time I've had this happen with messicks

What's sad is that I used to have a complete set of scratched doors at the shop that we kept around for a few years. Finally decided that it was time, and we tossed them in the scrap dumpster. That's been 2 years ago, I'm sure they've been melted down and made into chincanese cars by now.

Not sure what's wrong with yours but is it possible to repair what's broken , or make the part/piece that you need. Sometimes a little ingenuity goes a long ways.

I actually contemplated on that; however, the splines are the issue in this case and the splines are attached to the regulator. Which is why I am in need of the whole thing. I wish there was another solution rather than to replace the whole thing.

Ok, I hope I'm not the only one in the dark about what a window regulator is. Please edumacate me on this mysterious item, since I believed windows were simply glass things that let in light and some times could be moved up and down. My age is showing, isn't it?

A window regulator is the mechanical framework the vehicle window sets in and allows the window to move up and down. Here's one for sale on Amazon.

Messick's is the best!
Messick's plays fast and loose with their '5 - 10 days'. I ordered a hose that turned out to be NLA and OP here, Angie, says she called them and it's on indefinite back order, no surprise these days, I suppose.

Is there another Kubota dealer that is better?
I doubt it!

Now if this was me. if it's just the splines I would get a regulator from the wreckers and remove the crank stud from the one from the wrecker. You can either drill out the riviets or grind them off . Do the same with the one you have and see if that would work. If there different inside you could cut off the stud with the splines and do the same with yours and weld the stub onto yours. Now of course you will need or know someone who welds.

I've had good experience doing business with Messick's. As others have said, their shipping has gotten more expensive, but this is not entirely in their control. They could save us money by shipping small items USPS instead of UPS or FedEx. And I've learned to call if something's not in stock, so they can check warehouse stock.

I'm also blessed with two good dealers. One's about 5 miles from my home and the other's about 5 miles from where Katy is garaged. I do business with them when I can. They recognize me and offer services I can't get online. Ever ask Messick's for a free WSM download?

I didn't come on here to run anybody down. Messick's is good, my dealers are good, I'm sure Coleman is good, although I've never dealt with them. For me, it makes no sense to order an oil filter on-line when I'll be driving right by a dealer. But if the dealer was 40 miles away, or they didn't deal fairly, I'd do something else.

I'm with @tinkerwitheverything on this one. If you're handy with tools and such. Go down and buy a window crank / regulator from a junk supply, Pick A Part, or local auto parts shop. Whatever is in stock and cheap and meets the dimensions that you need. Jerry rig it, modify it.

Or fire up your 3D printer and go to town. {build one}.

If that's too time consuming. Order from Messick's and fix the window up or down in place until the part arrives.
