I’ve bought a Kubota u10-3 it is from 2006. But always well maintained and it had it’s last service in October 2024.

It also has brand new pins and bushings so almost no play in de boom.

But it is running a little low on hydraulic oil. So I want to add some. But can I just take any iso46 fluid? Because you sometimes read it is not good to mix brands…

I’m gonna give the whole machine a good service, I’ve already ordered the 2 suction hydraulic filters. But it takes weeks to deliver.

So tldr:

Can I just throw in any iso 46 hydraulic oil in my u10-3 excavator. I just want to fill it up a little bit

The owner's manual lists ISO 32, ISO 46, or ISO 64 viscosity grades based on operating conditions. Shell Tellus S2 was the factory fill.

Any decent AW ISO 46 will be fine. Shell Tellus S2 M46, Mobil DTE 25, Chevron Rando HD 46, whatever you can get locally. The don't mix brands thing is overblown as long as your sticking with mineral based AW oil of the same grade. For a small top off you got nothing to worry about.
