Which direction does B7100 motor turn

I recently bought a B7100 that does not run. In trying the starter today, I noticed that the fan was turning counter clockwise as you are facing the front of the tractor from the seat. I assume that there is no reason this is not possible, but I have never seen this before. Is this the way it should be turning? This is my first tractor and I am a complete beginner.

Your B7100 is turning in the correct direction,anti-clock from the seat and clockwise when viewed stood in front looking toward it.I have never seen an engine in that turns the other way. Some engines on machines that drive hydraulic pumps are tuned around , the fan is closest to the driver ,could that be confusing you ?
