Where to tee for sump return.

Hi all,
I've been looking at the Lane Shark for a few weeks and comparing it to an offset flail mower. For my property the front end LS will just be better. I'm trying to learn about hydraulics and have made some progress but.....I need help.

I called the company and since I have a 3rd function for a grapple all I need is a tee and a hydraulic line back to sump. And yes, a switch if I don't want to hold the grapple button.

So, I see color coding "dots" marking lines and some lines without coding but I wanted to confirm where it's better to put a tee to the sump. There are elbows at the loader attachment area and also elbows at the "block" just under the step-up by the HST.

Here are pictures of the two areas. My guess is the lower elbow at the block that isn't color coded. Is this correct?

Any help is very appreciated.

The lower elbow is direct to tank. You can tee into that connection either there or at the loader valve.

Just be aware that when the LS is running you will not have the use of the 3pt or your rear remotes if you have them.

I will probably use that lower elbow at the block. The loader area seems a bit congested.

I am gueasing you will want a quick coupler on that connection. Thats probably most conveniently mounted up by the third function couplers.

Dan, good idea if I have it right. So a new permanent line that will mount from where the grapple connects - a quick connect there and run to the tee that I put in at the elbow on the lower block. That sound right?

I assume those hoses have quick couplers on both ends. I was thinking a third hose run alongside those. That allows you to easily remove the loader.

on the tractor side you would run another hose from the return tee on the outlet block up to the two existimg ones at the top of the boom. Loader now comes off with 7 rather than 6 quick connects

Thanks Dan for all the good help.
You're right with just a single hose with quick connects at both ends. Heck, I'll just zip tie it to the other hoses and form a mount on the boom. I think the only thing to be careful about is plumbing the tee so it doesn't stick out to far from the frame step. I'll see what I can find.
