Hi all,

I am looking to purchase nearly 10k feet of 12.5 gauge, 4 point barbed wire. Both my in-laws and neighbor advised that I stay away from Red Brand. That's the only brand I can find locally. Does anyone have a preferred brand or site that I can try to look up?

Thanks!

Kencove fencing has barbed wire online.

I have never used it but other products from them were good products.

Not sure on the 12.5 ga. Wire is like most products, manufacturers make various grades. Red Brand use to be a highly though of fencing material. Lately it seems they are selling wire that rut quicker then before.

Here's an ad for some wire you may want to check out. Bekaert's High Tensile Cattleman® Pro 14g Barbed Wire is America's Strongest Barbed Wire. A higher steel content makes High Tensile Cattleman® Pro 14g Barbed Wire stronger, lighter, more durable fencing product than traditional barbed wire.

15.5 ga gaucho is a very popular wire.

With fencing, people are very opinionated, so to find the best wire you have to be open minded and do you own homework.
