Thanks. Got it to work. Indeed, the oil filter for all the B series is the same. Once you get part #s, you can order from Amazon.
Glad you were get it to work. :)
The thing I like about using the online "Kubota parts-list" ( https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ ) is I can determine SPECIFICALLY what the P/N is and even identify superseded parts.

That website makes no pretense to sell me anything.... only to provide accurate P/Ns for my machine.

Once I have the list of P/Ns of interest, I can surf the web and shop based on the ACTUAL P/Ns instead of websites which pretend to know what parts fit my tractor. (Other websites may not be aware of superseded parts)

As I have mentioned in the past, I have learned that 'aftermarket' parts do not always fit. (waterpump) and when the benefits are considered, it is often best to just order from local Kubota parts-counter.
  • I prefer to shop locally and keep folks employed
  • Aftermarket, offbrand, parts can damage my machine. (hydro-filters, Hydro-fluid...etc)
  • There is no shipping cost.
  • Many parts are in stock
  • Wrong parts are MUCH easier to return
  • They have knowledge/skill/wisdom how to work on Kubota

I choose to support my local dealers. They stock parts and I can also get advice if I'm having a problem. If I have to buy online I'd rather go to another dealer over a company like amazon that screws its vendors, employees and delivery persons to pay for rocket ship joy rides on my nickel. Free shipping has a real cost.

The other issue with amazon is their search engine is impossible to find what I want - too many completely unrelated search results and no way to filter. Frequently amazon prices are so out of whack it's cheaper to buy from the dealer.

i.e. yesterday I needed to buy some new chainsaw chains. Searching with the OEM part number on amazon yield not one OEM part, just pages of unrelated crap. Adding more search terms makes the results even worse. I did find the part through google search, but I can buy 2 chains at my tractor dealer for the price of one amazon supplied part with free shipping. And I picked up the part yesterday instead of waiting a mystery 2-4 weeks for next day amazon prime shipping.

My local dealer is 1 hour away for misc parts, but so far it's worked great ordering maintenance supplies online from Nova International here in Canada, Kubota Parts | Kubota Parts Online | Nova International Ltd (shopnovaintl.com) , and there's "Free Shipping in Canada for Orders Above $99" so I get my oils and filters from them for all the 200 and 400 hour intervals. They have regular sale events so I make sure I'm stocked for the next 400 hours interval including 2 engine oil filters, 2 hst filters, and a hydraulic sump filter. Plus the 20 liters Kubota Premium HST oil. The fuel and air filters last with cleaning so got one spare set for now. The sale event prices with free shipping does a bit better than the dealer and get delivery to home.
Thank you for this information I bought my tractor from them but did not know they had an online store. they are over 2 hours away round trip so free shipping on maintenance items is great. thanks again
