I have a BX1860 and I am trying to find the vent for the transmission. I cannot find it on any of the diagrams and I am wondering if anyone can tell me or show me a picture of where it is located. I am wondering if my HST vent may be plugged up with dirt and needs a cleaning.

Thanks again Sean. If it was a snake it would'a bit me. My breather has a red plastic cover on it. It is right behind where the top link connects to the tractor. It had a little bit of crud built up around it. I just used an air hose to blow it off.

The reason I was concerned about the breather is because of the axle seal that blew out last fall. I was thinking that the breather was clogged and maybe caused pressure to build up enough to blow out that axle seal. That seems to be the case because that axle seal is still seated after I pressed it back in.

Anyway, thanks again for the drawing.:)
