Where is the relief valve? - B2400

I am working on a B2400. The pressure line from the pump to the lift developed a crack just under the seat. While I have this line off I would like to use the opportunity to plumb in an aux valve per Vic's video.

I am a little concerned about what kind of control valve I can use. If the relief valve for the tractor lift is in or near the pump it won't be too critical but if the relief valve is in the lift housing such as some domestic tractors I am concerned about putting a valve ahead of it. I guess I could still get away with it if I set the built-in relief on the aux valve to open at the same or lower pressure than the Kubota system?

Am I way out there on this?

The relief valve is in the TPH housing so you must install a valve with a relief relief valve in it. It should be set the same or lower than the current valve.

SDVic; u are correct when u say u need a opencenter valve when
u add this to your bota. however i fail to see how a straight open center
valve without the power beyond adapter would work. without the power beyond adapter, u would only get pressure in your aux valve is when the 3PT
lever is in the up position. thats the way i see it. do u have t trick way off doing it without the power beyond adapter??
