Of COURSE they were “in the last place you looked.” …. when you FOUND them…you QUIT LOOKING!And the verdict is. It was the last place I looked. Also, they were in a zipped up compartment of my suitcase.
I have no idea why, but that's the answer.
Hahaha....My fool proof method of finding small items.
Pick up another small item, one that is expensive, important, unique and hard to get. With it in your hand, close your eyes and throw it. When silence returns, the item you just threw will be right next to the item you lost. If you have poor eyesight, keep repeating this expert process until a pile is created. Everything you lost will be right there!
Just wondering if anyone has any great ideas where my stuff may be? Right now, I'm missing a 1/2 x 28 to 5/8 to 24 thread adapter and a set of keys.
I just thought I'd throw it out there and ask since I can't find them.![]()
This is how I now own two sets of ball joint separator tools. Magic.Everything you "lose" just gets transported to another universe, where it sits until you buy replacements. Then, through some yet unknown element of quantum physics, it mysteriously comes back.

So true - - I could probably make a (short) list of duplicates due to this phenomenon....This is how I now own two sets of ball joint separator tools. Magic.
"Private" ????Hahaha....
So true story.....
When I was working on EA-6B's we had a Private lose a screw in the cockpit. (Big NO! NO!)
So he reports it to the QA officer, and a FOD report is issued (no one in the entire squadron goes home without finding this screw....no matter what.)
Well I walk out there with my tool box to start tearing the cockpit apart, and there is Private Dumbass dropping screws in the cockpit to see where they go!!!!!!!
They had to physically restrain me from kicking that kids ass.
"Private" ????
The EA-6B was a USN only aircraft.
What was a (Marine?) "Private" doing in an EA-6B ????????
Didn't know that the MC ever had any "Q" birds, but I can clearly see the pod.
No Sir. We (the Marines) had 18 EA-6B's"Private" ????

I believe it correct that the Marines were the first …and the last…Operators of the EA-6B."Private" ????

I spent 2 years in an EA-3B squadron (Med.)No Sir. We (the Marines) had 18 EA-6B's
I was with VMAQ-2 "Playboys". When I was in, the squadron was divided into 3 detachments (6 planes each) that would rotate deployment cycles.
After I got out they were divided into 4 separate squadrons and the 'Playboys' had to change their name/logo because it was "sexist"......
All the EA-6B's have been retired now though.

This was in Bahrain circa 1991-92 (man, I was good looking)
I cant believe that plane made it back after being hit by a SAM, but it did.

I can add polyurethane to the list today….bought 2 and found the 2 on another shelf…..So true - - I could probably make a (short) list of duplicates due to this phenomenon....![]()
