Hi all,

Bought my l6060 from a JD dealer a year ago. At that time I also picked up a JD Box Blade and JD brush hog. The brush hog came with these bushings on it, which fit the cat2 quick attached perfectly:

bushing.jpg

The specs of this is: i.d. 7/8" o.d. 1 7/16" length 2"
Problem is, for the box blade I need it to be 3". Putting this 2" on it, there's a 1" gap that the quick attach arm falls into on one side then the whole things off kilter.

Does anyone know where to get this in 3"?

Of course asking the JD dealer, they don't have the 3" or this one in the photo, never had it or sold it to me and they don't know where to get it. Right... because I poured the aluminum to make this bushing myself? ok.

Only larger bushing for the lower arms I find on Amazon are 4" with pins that are suppose to slide over the ends of the cat1 pins. We'll this box blade does not have pins sticking out of the sides, it's a 3" U with a 7/8" pin that goes through it.

Thanks all!

any number of vendors sell CAT1 bushings for Quick hitches.......
depending on use you buy, might need to 'cut to length'

You can find those 1/8" thick wall bushings everywhere... I need this one, as the wall is about 5/16" thick.

If they came on the bush hog, look up the parts breakdown for it. Maybe they will be listed.

Or double up the bushing. Cat1 to 2, then 2 to 3. Cut length to fit in box blade. Sounds like that pin will not be removed once everything is set up how it should be.

Routine to buy longer and cut to length. Might want to put grade 8 flat washer on one side.

Like @MOOTS said, I've had decent luck with nesting two bushings: CAT1/CAT2 inside a CAT2/CAT3.

Been quite a while but seems like I could find both 2 and 3" bushings at TSC, Rural King or whatever similar chain store nearby should have them. Last ones I got were $2-3 each. A little pricey for what they are, but sure are convenient. I do have some that are just 2", but pretty sure some of mine are longer.

Worth a look.

Like @SDT could cut them to fit if need be.

Only JD had those!
The 'norm' is to buy a CAT1 to CAT2 bushing, and a CAT2 to CAT3 bushing place the smaller one inside the larger one to get to the required CAT3 sizes needed for a Quick Hitch (not CAT2 as stated).

Give these guys a call, I was there last month picking up my tractor and they have (in stock) every type of bushing imaginable.
