I was browsing the Kubota USA site and noticed that on the build your Kubota section the mx series and my L4701 are no longer options.
Anyone here what’s going on?
I just purchased my 4701 last year. If it’s discontinued what does that mean for parts

The site is squirrelly. When looking at the tractors center screen there is an arrow on the right to "scroll" the model offerings across the screen. I was on there yesterday perplexed as well. Too fancy for its own good. They are there don't worry.

Kubota is one of those sites where sometimes it is easier to just use Google or another search engine from outside the site to get to the section you want.

I had the same issue a few weeks ago when I was looking for info before ordering a F2690 front mount mower, it was well hidden within the menu system and the numerous "explore" widgets in the Kubota site lead you everywhere except where you want to go.

Squirrelly is a great word for Kubota's website. The MX models are there too in the Build My Kubota utility.

It never ceases to amaze me how many websites suck these days. Everything Attachments makes great products but their website is awful. The same goes for Good Works Tractors! Some of these companies could most likely do more business if they had better, more user friendly sights.

∆+1 Do these companies not have someone in-house checking their sites's useability?

Well in general when it comes to great products and passion by the founders of companies, take a look at the greats and then take a look at how many companies are 75years old. Of a product you as a customer are passionate about how many made it to 75 and why? Tech companies are a blip on the radar. Todays workforce and customer base is differentfrom prior from early development to actual practice of buying/ building and selling an actual product. The virtual world may be something some us of don’t currently require to maintain a happy life or productivity and this some us of may not understand(many of us expect things to work as basic expectation - but not everyone is selling some thing real or that works-not all customers require that in todays reality). this could change but in reality what in some sectors of life today there is a not a tangible product. It could be a feeling or perception without a tangible asset or value…however it could be priceless in todays reality by some. However in cases like that where perceived value is more than an actual asset, what is a perception may not be possible or even work. 🤔. No shit, I am dead serious. Because something is a perceived value today, doesn’t mean it will last or real. Anyway it’s not mechanical or tangible….some companies that make great products may focus on the tangible versus the virtual. (So sometimes the website no workee- product could be great) What we see in new companies is focus on virtual versus tangible. It doesn’t mean new is sustainable. Kubota makes a great tangible product. Don’t get wrapped around the axle for the website. The product is real, tangible, and with basic maintenance will exceed reasonable expectations.

I hope they saved a lot of money hiring the web developers for the “new” site. If I had to guess, someone got promoted for their great “new” idea. ;)

Must be something with the Mobile site. I’m still having the same issues as I did. I can find specs for it but it’s nowhere to be found on build my tractor. Any how it could certainly be user error. I’ll try it on a real computer later. Glad to hear it’s still around lol.
thanks to all

I was looking at one of the B models yesterday and couldn't add a loader. Could add a bucket, but no loader.

Also, a B2320 showed up. According to tractor data.com, this model hasn't been available since 2015. Looks similar to the B2401, gear trans only. correction, tractordata shows gear or hydro, but kubotausa doesn't give a choice, so ?

I would have to think that many don't.
Many websites seem to be designed solely according to the perspectives of the vendor/supplier, and they don't think from the customer perspective. The patient portal that the medical centre I use is a classic - absolutely impossible for patients to navigate or understand without a lot of trial and error. Clearly built by developers based on a design created by doctors or medical professionals, who assume that they know what the patient wants.

One of the big plusses with Kubota is availability of parts, even on older machines. It's a strong selling point in my books.
My L48 TLB is now 16 years old, and all parts seem to be readily available.
