Hey everyone!

Just joined and first post here after lurking off and on to learn more about Kubotas.
Anyway I have a 1977 B7100D and am in the market for tires and possibly wheels. It currently wears the original skinny ag tires. After looking around If I'm not mistaken, I've seen what appears to be two different wheel sizes for these tractors, with wider rims being paired with turf tires.
I know other users have gone with totally different wheels and made them fit, but I'm curious if it is possible to get wider ag tires to run on the factory rims that came with turf tires? Reason I'm looking to do this is because the tractor is used mainly for lawn mowing and I'm looking for additional stability, but want to keep with an ag style tire for traction.

I went to the local golf cart store and picked up a set of 12x7 wheels that fit perfect, no grinding or any work needed and less than $40.00 each, put on 23x10:50-12 Tru powers then ordered a set of Firestone power implement (ags) 12.5 x15 for the rear 15" stock rims. Should work like a charm if I did all the math right........ Guess we'll see in a few days????

You might want to check the tire circumference ratio to be sure you're not putting your gears in a bind. Or not use four wheel drive unless in mud!!

Looks nice and aggressive, but maybe too much so.

I/we did the math and all is within specs. The real test was using the tractor. No binding what so ever. Smooth in and out of 4x4. Actually smoother than the turf/camper tire combo that came on tractor. So far so good. I'm liking it and shouldn't cut ruts to bad once the rains start...... Lol

The first photo makes the front tires look way bigger than they actually are. They are only 23.3 tall but they are wide.....

Still no issue with binding ran the snot out of it last night blading in water line and no issues at ALL......

So looks like they are gonna stay put.

FYI for anyone interested I now have full set of turf tires and wheels for sale if someone is looking. Tires are ok but nothing to right home about. Shoot me a pm if interested.
