I have a Dirt Dog 48" landscape rake (clr48). What wheels can I get that will fit this rake? I found wheels for dirt dog landscape rake, but only the larger sizes. They list many sizes but the 48" is not one of them. Im not sure why they wouldn't fit, but guessing there must be some reason; otherwise they would have listed that size for compatibility.

Any suggestions for wheels for the 48" clr48?

Does anyone have wheels for their 48" landscape rake?

curious...
If it's a model CLR48, there's no place to mount wheels, at least from the one picture I saw from a dealer.
If you need them, maybe order the wheel kit from D for their HD rake, drill 4 holes ,bolt on and rake away ?

I saw a picture of a different model of a Dirt Dog rake that had wheels. I'm no engineer, but it sure looked like a flimsy arrangement. You would probably be just as well off designing your own.

i have a Worksaver brand 48 inch rake with a single wheel mount in the center vs the 60 inch version that has traditional wheels. Maybe check to see if there is a mount in the middle.

I cant imagine this rises to the level of rocket engineering. Bolt some angle to the beam and hang some wheels. You can probably use one/some of the existing bolts.

I'll work on fabrication I guess. Good excuse to learn how to weld. I called dort dog and did find out that the wheels they sell won't work for this size due to the different tine height of the larger rakes vs the 48" unit.

look on the net, to see what others do to put wheels on a 48" rake. if you can get the 'parts list', good chance wheel size will be listed.
agree it's a great way to justify a welded and learn another skill. make friends with local 'weld/fab' shop ask if you can barter for 'dumpster dives'.
OK, I got curious, googled '4' landscape rake with wheels',went to images, LOTS there, TSC sells a kit for $400 US$, yikes.... BUY a welder ! pays for itself 1st 'project' !!!
