Wheel spacers

I’m looking to add some rear wheel spacers to my BX23 to help with stability on slopes
Any brand recommendations? And what thickness would give me the optimum results?

2" Bora as long as they don't interfere with mmm if you have one on it.

Brotek is another common brand. Just installed 2" on mine. no complaints at all. They were delivered in 6 days over a holiday weekend.

I think 3" are a bit much, I'm still debating on using my 2" but that's just me. There are quite a few people on here with them and have not heard of any problems.. But there's always that debate on wether or not you should run even 2".

I used the Bora 2” steel spacers on my B2601. I went 2” because of the MMM. Wider would be better but, 2” was still a significant improvement.

I went with Bora over BroTek for two reasons; I wanted steel spacers and the Bora had pre-installed studs which made installation super fast and easy.

Wasnt there a recent thread that concluded that 2" on the front barely cleared the loader frame? I think it was a BX.

Everything I have heard says there is no benefit in spacing out the front wheels and that they could cause issues with the steering linkage

Right.. stay away from front spacers! On the BX at-least..

I've purchased Bro-Tek spacers for my B2920, L2501, L4060, and MX6000. All 2", except the L2501 I went with 3" spacers. The Bro-Teks have always had the studs already preinstalled. Very simple installation, and the aluminum will never rust. Obviously a tractor like an L4060 or MX6000 has really heavy rear tires that are loaded and the spacers have never had an issue. I have no experience with Bora. I would definitely use Loctite on the tractor-side studs and nuts.

Don't put spacers on the front - the front axles are not as rugged, and the extra width acts as a lever. The stress is made worse while steering or having a load in the front end loader.

When I get spacers installed I plan on getting a finish mower. Who’s best? What size would be best for a BX23?

I put the 3" Bro-Teks on my 2650, looks very tractory and very stable, but the wheels are much larger than a Bx. Dad's bx25 does not have any spacers and it feels more tippy but very predictable. For the Bx wheel size, I would not suggest the 3". 1.5 or 2" should be plenty.
As far as who's best ... I went with Bro-Tek after reading the install instruction for both them and Bora. I also wanted rust free aluminum. Steel spacers do weigh more but it's very minimal compared to liquid fill or any implement weight for ballast.

Keep in mind that for a BX, wheel spacers intended for a Jeep work perfectly, and are available on Ebay or Amazon for very reasonable prices. Unfortunately I cannot find anything that matches my needs for the B2910 aside from Bora or Brotek, which cost a lot more.

A search here or at TBN should turn up some threads with details, if interested.

I bought them for my BX and the Son in Law's BX23S last year or the year before. His were 2" and very good quality. At the time, price was something like $60 delivered for a pair of the 2" spacers, which included the needed lug nuts. Probably a little more now...worth considering due to the price difference.

I just got a 2" pair off ebay for around $60. 5x`114.3 bolt pattern with 71.5 center bore. The 2" ones clear the MMM on my BX2380, but when I turn deck wheels sideways to slide deck out from tractor , they hit the rear tires now.
