Welcome to OTT!
I looked into this a while back, and the most economical way to buy was through my local Kubota dealership. Of course, I was looking for spray cans, and they were cheapest, especially for Kubota paint. If you are looking for bulk, you should check with an auto paint jobber.
A regular old can of Rustoleum is $5-$6 around where I live, and I was buying Kubota paint at the dealer for about $9 a spray can. I didn't feel that was a bad price, considering.
The other issue, though, is with spray cans, you don't get hardener, so the paint isn't quite as tough as what you would spray through a gun.

I have tried a bunch- kubota factory paint, had some mixed at the auto parts store and put in a can, and then bought the generic kubota orange for 5.99 or something off the shelf. That was the best hands down. I got it at Napa. The stuff they mixed took forever to flash off, the kubota stuff was more expensive and a ways away and the Napa stuff was great. And cheap... also went a long way!

Maybe another point of fiew:

Even if your local Kubota dealer is a little bit more expansive, then Walmart Chevy engine orange, you will suport the locals. And he will be there, if you need help for your tractor. Walmart isn't a garage!
Cheap now, is expansive tomorrow! Look for a resonable price... ;)

I got my paint at the local farm supply. Bought a quart. Don't remember the price but was not overly expensive. I was trying to paint some home made wheel weights to match the tractor. Was a close match considering all the weathering of the original paint on the tractor. Now the next project will be to paint the rest of the tractor!!!

I've tried several different kinds and have found a few good matches when it's first sprayed on. After some time goes by the real Kubota paint bought at the dealer has by far been the best.

You get what you pay for.
The OP never did state which factory color he was looking for. If it is the blue, the dealership or a paint jobber is the best source. If he is talking about orange, Tractor Supply carries Valspar, which has the common tractor colors. They don't have Kubota Blue, but they have Kubota Orange.

I'm normally all for supporting the locals, but $15.99 for a spray can is a bit much.....
I use the Rustoleum Night Tide for the blue, and picked up about 20 cans of Allis Chalmers orange from a hardware store that was going out of business- $1.99 a can if I remember right. It's not like I'm doing a concours restoration on my old beater.:D

Although this brand matches about perfect when applied after a short while it turns kind of reddish pink looking color. My pretty orange mail box is two tone now. It's pretty and orange where the Kubota paint was used and red/pink looking where the other stuff was sprayed.

If you're using rattle cans and want it to stay orange better stick with Kubota. IMHO
