For what it’s worth, the swordfish are with a garlic/ginger compound butter...pretty good stuff.

Took a long weekend to Texas and just got home today. Was feeling lazy so I thawed some stew meat, threw it in the pan and made some beef tips and gravy for dinner

Ya know looking at them,, I happend to think about one time up in the GWN,, We portaged in to a big BIG BIG beaver pond, the water was very clear, and along the shore line all the way around were pop bottles,, now how the duce did they get here? Well being the kind of guys we were the first one we got to I went to pick it up and toss it inthe canoe. WTH??it had a line tied to it, and down about 8 feet or so was a trap with about 8 or 10 mudbugs in it,,, huh somebody was catching bait. Every other one we checked was the same till my bud said look at the size of the holes inthe trap. they were way to big to keep minnows in they could swim right out.
SO now I am wondering if someone set mudbug traps up there?

My young daughters (now 28) used to tear through fried calamari like Grant took Richmond....

To this day, they eat almost anything-because they were exposed to a lot of good stuff when they were younger.

Those look really good! I am still working on my sourdough crumpet skills. You make them with leftover sourdough starter instead of throwing it out. I need some English muffin rings to cook them in instead of using canning jar lids.
