Well now that we got photos situated Dinner the other night was pulled pork. Cooked up 16 lbs worth of boston butt. Shared with the neighbors and froze a bunch for later dinners.

On a side note. Do ya'll know that we can now give someone the finger with this new set up

Picked up a 2 pack of shoulders on my way home from work. Will rub them on Thursday and pop on the smoker Friday after work. Will make for some good meals. Stay tuned for some photos

Yup I also prefer the little "mountain & moon" tool above the posting window. Using it allows me to add descriptive narrative between the pictures.

I actually prefer a porter house that is at least 1.5" thick. But with everything going on and the price of them it's a little prohibitive if it's for more then my wife and I.

We were supposed to have two out of the three grandkids tonight, hence the 4 steaks. But one is being a butt and confined to quarters. So we only have the 1 kiddo tonight.

We'll have the younger brother over in the morning and headed to the water park.

I'm sorry to here that. We actually have two grandkids, then our youngest has a half brother that we have on occasion. His half brother isn't actually ours but we treat him the same.

If we lost one of the kiddos, it would tear us apart.

No intention of injecting our sadness, but always remember that what always happens to someone else doesn't always. That plus Half is the same as a Whole. Love them all.

Got a couple of shoulders rubbed down Friday morning, back in the fridge to rest and on the smoker at 10:30 Saturday. Pulled them off today at 1:30AM and let rest in a cooler till 7:00. Juicy and tender. Saved a bit for my breakfast. Amazing what 15hrs at 225 will do IT was at 187 when I pulled them off
