Thanks Guys, 61 and counting ain't too shabby.

I spent yesterday sawing logs, and today it will be working the tops into firewood. Actually just as much sweat as work.

Can't wait for the first garden tomato. Almost time to brine and smoke a belly for BLTs .

Friday lunch. Irish in the glass, decent cigar, and Stairway to heaven blasting. Why ? I am retired, have no plans for the day, I answer to no one and I CAN ! But damn, I miss her cooking !

wings are on the pit, slaw is made, fixin to make up some Mac n cheese. Chops for the boy.

cleaning out the deep freeze, got pork shoulder and couple slabs of ribs thawing for tomorrow

I’ve got 40# of wings in the freezer and enough homemade sauce for all of them.

Came frozen in 4-10# blocks…..I’ve been struggling with how to contend with them.

I can’t eat 10#, and don’t have enough friends to eat them in a sitting.

I’ve been throwing them on the pit at 225 for about 2 hrs and then throw em in the oven on convection at 400 to crisp em a bit

This can of Vienna Sausage was one wiener short.

It's been 2 1/2 years since @Magicman uncovered the Vienna Sausage Scandal.

I’ve continued my investigation on occasion over the years.

I’ve been lapse in my reporting.

I grew reluctant to broadcast my investigative techniques on the interwebs and OTT……don’t know who you can trust….

Struck out tonight too.

I definitely don’t have the touch.

Probably eaten 50 cans of those things in last couple years during my “investigation.”

Loved em for decades. Gave me an excuse to get them.

If I found the “4- leaf clover” I wouldn’t have an excuse to open another can….

Had a lot of fun joking about it and good snacks along the way.
