What should I expect to pay for a new LX4020 with a sticker price of $38,000.00 I know all dealers have a bottom line, but what should be a good deal. How much off the sticker price.

If this was before Covid - I would say knock off 10-11% of the total.

Now? I would expect 0% off - I have heard of dealers INCREASING the cost OVER the sticker price!!

I would look at other "goodies" that the dealer might give you IN THE DEAL - like loading your tires, maybe a welded hook on the FEL and anything else you could wiggle out of them.

I will be surprised if you get below the sticker - but I hope you do!!!!!

sadly I can't 'build a Kubota' to get a price...'access denied', probably cause I'm currently in Canada, which makes no sense.

oh well... $38K tractor, I'd expect to get 15% off depending on how many have been sitting in the rain at the dealership....

That MAY be reality in Ontario,......but not so in the USA.
Then too,...... a tractor for $38K in the USA would be a $50.7K CAD tractor in Ontario.

If you have a few dealers in your area. My best advice is to check with all of them for like to like specs. I am super lucky to have 4 dealers essentially on the points of the compass (N,E,S & W) within30 miles from my house.
in 2021 I got a LX2610HST with a sticker price on the build site of $24,874 I had quotes ranging from $20,6xx to just over $27,4xx. All using the Equine discount that in 2021 was actually worth something.

It really depends on how bad and how fast you want it. In my case I ordered it and waited for it to come in. But then I had my old B7510 that I was selling on my own rather than trading it in.

When I shopped zero turns at Kubota recently they were offering (without having to push/haggle) about 8% off, even with the zero percent financing. May be different for tractors, but I'd assume there's some wiggle room assuming they have inventory.

Cash discount was basically $100, on top of saving the doc fee for financing (if there is one).

yeah, $50K PLUS another 13% for taxes....which is $6500 more....... so $56,500 'out the door'

If you could clear that sticker price with taxes included it’s probably an awesome deal. Pre covid, my understanding was dealers could order and had more margin on those but note due soon…or could take allocation and get what they get and note not due soon…pre covid many dealers used first option. From covid many took allocation to get some supply and note not due so no reason to drop prices…I don’t know that is true or not but that is how it was explained to me. So depending on how that unit note is priced or delivered to dealer may impact what wiggle room they have. On the lot and available has been worth a lot in past year…if paying sticker if they don’t have much on lot probably not a bad deal. If they have 20 of them, I don’t think there is a rush to settle…but I think depends on did they order or get allocated and how they are financed / note due…if that is true…if someone from a dealer in here coach us up.

iMO dealers inventory has been creeping back up i my area so that should indicate demand vs supply and on top of that as long as rates keep going up sooner or later folks won’t be buying much….personally I’d be deciding whether buy before or after a correction. But if you need it you need it.

Ouch! Must have a cab?

When I got my B2601 18 mos ago, it was sticker price. And anything with hydraulics (FELs) was just becoming available again, post Covid. BSing with the sales guy and he showed me how the equipment manufacturers were giving him prices sheets and at the bottom they would add an $xxx amount steel escalation cost to each unit and that was subject to change every 30 days.

I just got a quote for some drill rig operation and they added a 4% fuel charge that wasn’t there last month. And we’re supposed to believe inflation is down. Best as I can tell it’s been an honest “average” 12% in the last 24 mos.

I just brought home a new cab model LX4020, my dealer gave me a list price of about $38,200 and discounted it to a special price of about $34,900. *Of course I added a loader and some other options which made the out the door price in the mid $40's. But those were the numbers on the tractor itself, with in $50 or so...

Good question... I just updated my list to be more accurate. I had the BX, upgraded to a B2601, then added another B2601. I just replaced one of the B2601's with the LX4020.
The B's are great, I just wanted a little more, more everything, but PTO HP is the excuse I used to upgrade to the LX4020. The B2601 would run my 60" brush hog and Woodland Mills WC68 chipper, and 72" snow pusher, but they were all it wanted to handle.
I'm anticipating the LX4020 to be a beast with those same attachments, and with the added bonus of being out of the weather.
I'm looking forward to really trying out the LX4020 this weekend,

Oh chit! These prices are without FEL? Mid 40s for the king of LXs. I can understand if that were MX. Holy Toledo! So glad I got my L when US bucks were worth something.

Unlikely you will get any discount from the dealers price.

Worse, expect the dealer price to be considerably higher than the "Build It" price on the Kubota website due to set-up, installation time for options, etc.

Worse yet, expect a very low trade in value for your 3350.
