DEF is 75hp to 750hp. DEF was added with the M5 and M6 in 2015 according to tractor data. Replacing the M8560 and M9960 models.

DPF is 26hp and up starting around 2015 for Kubota.

DEF - DPF,

210-220.......whatever it takes........(Mr. Mom was it?)

Instead of confusing myself, I have coined the term "emissions bullsh!t". It kinda rolls it all in one.

And I am pretty sure the "emissions bullsh!t" began being federally mandated back in 2015.

EXACTLY!
I would rather avoid it than deal with it.
that is also why I still drive a 1999 Dodge Cummins. It is worth the time and effort keeping it sanitary than to deal with the emissions krapp on the later models.

Back when I was driving semi-truck, prior to my 2015 retirement, DEF caused more "issues" than it was claimed to resolve. Nothing but trouble. The trucks were so choked off, they hardly ran without needing a ReGen every 30-40 minutes.

The song "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights" is still stuck in my head.

The bus company I drove for the last 5 years has nothing but problems with this emission BS Mainly in the winter. Always towing one back to the shop. When I upgraded to a 1 ton in 2021, wanted a cummins. Owned a 2000 with a Cummins and was a fool selling it. After all the costs involved with DEF, I stayed with a 6.4 gas engine as my trade in was. If I upgrade from my 1880, will stay under 25 hp to stay away from emission BS.
