What year was this B2410 manufactured?

Hello. Long time lurker and first time poster here. I been in the market for a used Kubota compact tractor for the last few years. Last month settled on a really nice B2410 with a 60" belly mower. Very clean with 317 hours on her. Bought it from a (should I even say this) JD dealer in Pittsfield MA. All the service was done and needs nothing. It was listed as a 2006 model year. TractorData mentions it was produced from 2000 to 2005. Not needing to go to my local dealer yet. I was wondering how one could tell the year of this model? I am just curious. I have a number that shows 6C150-11022 on the frame with a engine # of YW8320 and with the serial number separately. KubotaEngine.com lists it as built in Feb. 2006 and the engine number it lists as a Nov. 2000. TractorData says 2005 latest. Would anyone here with their fine Kubota wisdom set me straight.

Technically a tractors year is the year that it's first sold, so it could be anywhere from a 2000 and up.

The motor is Nov of 2000

Now as far as tractor manufacture date, they don't publicly publish that information, but safe to say somewhere in the 2000-2001 range, as the motors don't sit on the shelf for very long.

FYI: The serial # that you gave comes up as a B2710HSD

Thanks Wolfman. Yeah it wasn't a big deal for me finding out. I was just curious. Funny though. It is a B2410. Rechecking those numbers I was off a digit. It's 6C150-11020 not 11022. Below that it has B2410HSD-USA. The serial number is separate from those.

I bought a B2410 in September. Unlike yours, mine is a high-time unit, 2500+ hours. It came with the 54" MMM and B2550 front-mount blower.

If you like your B2410 as much as I like mine, you'll be a happy camper indeed.

I consider a 'high hours' unit one that the hour meter has rolled over on....

2500 is just broken in (so long as it's properly and timely maintained).

My buddy's 4020 Deere is on it's second time around the hour meter and runs fine. I bet it goes a 3rd time without too many issues.

Well, compared to my B7510's with less than 700 and less than 400 hours, respectively, 2500 hours is an old tractor. It needs injector work which, as you've pointed out, is timely maintenance. Everything else works just fine but does show signs of wear.

The 54" MMM, on the other hand, is in need of a complete overhaul. It looks like the MMM has been the implement of choice for racking up the hours on this tractor. I can see why, too, as it seems a perfect match to the tractor. I mow with the HSD pedal to the floor much of the time, and that deck does such a beautiful job of the grass that I always receive compliments after cutting at the airport.
