re: Once you go Zero turn you'll never go back!

well I went back ! After 3, yes, THREE, different zero turns ,including a TORO with a Kubota diesel in it, I went back to a 'riding mower'.
In my situation(health and property) ,the rider is the better choice.

also 'bigger is better' isn't always the case

John, any plans for grass cutting with your B? Am considering a B but not sure yet. If you do cut grass with it, let me know how it does. Thanks.

I just read your message.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

95% of my tractor time is mowing with the MMM. Average about an hour per week.
It does fine.

100 hrs and no problems or complaints.

Get B/B50/LX with a loaderand any 3-point tools you'll need, like a box scraper, and don't bother with a belly mower for it.
I use a rotary mower on my B2650 for general field maintenance, and got a basic riding mower for finer tuned yard mowing.
For the cost and mount/unmount/ trouble of a MMM for the kubota, go standalone zer0-turn or whatever for the lawns. I went with a JD D130 on sale. With the rotary doing the heavier work the D130 mower is not putting on many hours.

ive thought about a 3 point mower of some sort but i already have a really good commercial zero turn. and it seems like a huge step back.

the horses do a decent job of mowing in the pastures and i just hit their pooping spots they dont eat in with the mower now and then

I'm in much the same boat as @fransser, with dirt and stone the BX is a bit less than I want, a BX3050 with MMM, FEL, & backhoe would be great, EXCEPT for the regen (or "not gonna regen") issues. The current B line doesn't lift that much more than a BX, and the B3050 is now a LX with price to match.

An LX is getting hard to swap from lawn to woods regularly, so that means keeping the BX and an LX, which means building another out-building, and that's getting spendy just to move dirt and heating wood. For that expense a used MX makes sense, BUT, do I really have that much work I want to pay to do? Likely not.
