I hope this is a simple question. I'm trading my 7100 and need to pull a control valve off and cap the hydraulic fitting. What size and type of plug do I need? See picture.

cannot help you with your plug size, but on another note, what are you getting for your B7100 in trade, I might be in the market to buy one!
What has the dealer promised you as a trade in?
Trading in for a 7300 w/FEL and 54" deck. Getting $4k for the 7100 hst, 48" deck with 1020 hrs. I think it's worth more but don't have the time. It's super clean 94.
I believe that is a standard 3/8 npt, I think that may dead end your hydraulic pump there should be a return to your hydraulic supply.
Thanks for the info, I found the return plug in the manual but couldn't find the supply side info.
Hokie, how many of those B7100's do you need? I was thinking everyone was joking around about your little addition issues. Now I am beginning to wonder...lol. Then again, I guess one could have worse issues...

Is there only one line off of that block?
If so, I'm amazzed it ever worked right, must ave been used to power something very light on hydralic use or pressure?
Now as far as plugging it if there is only one line off of it and someone didn't re-thread that hole, it would be a BSPT (british standard pipe taper) fitting.
If it was re taped they probably went to a NPT fitting.
On the return side, it it has the tee for the return take the tee out and the original plug should still fit the hole.
If there is actually 2 hoses that come off of that block then you will have to put a loop in there and no a plug or you will dead head the hydraulic system.

Yes, only one line off the block that powered the dump on the leaf collector. I never thought it was the proper set up, it's the way I got it and it worked.
Sounds like I'll be ok in just plugging the block.
