I have a Kubota l260 or 240 with the same serial number. Going to change the oil and fuel filters. The number on the oil filter is 7000032431. Any help is appreciated.

How do you have either or with THE SAME serial number?

Ok - I am confused too.

Okay, everybody flunks! Obviously it was a test. Perhaps a new test like the Emergency Broadcast System's periodic broadcasts. I surmise that this test was a follow-up to the "shot across the bows" which Douglas Preston documented in "Impact". If my hunch is correct, the test is designed to determine if there is intelligent life on the planet.

Fortunately, it appears that the aliens will keep looking. (Sadly, I may be mistaken, and they were actually looking for a planet without intelligent life that they could colonize!)
