I just bought a 90's B7100HST with a Kubota 1630 FEL for $5000. 707 hours on the clock. It's been stored inside. I filled the rears with beat juice and spent Saturday changing hydraulic fluid, cleaning the screens and filter. The last service was within 200 hours. I also changed the oil and filter although it had been done recently and greased all the fittings.
I will change the gear oil in the front hubs, drain the radiator, replace with 50/50 mix and change the the fuel filter next. Manuals came with it and have been helpful. Am I missing anything? It seems to be running great.
I just found a used Land Pride RTR1042 in excellent condition for $450. I'm picking it up Saturday.
The Kubota dealer tried to sell me a new RTR1042 last week for $1800 and said it would work fine on the B7100HST.
Specs on the Land Pride recommend a 17-25HP tractor. The B7100 is 16HP and less at the PTO especially with the HST. Is this tiller too much for my tractor? Can I damage the tractor with this tiller? An advice would be greatly appreciated.
