What would be the correct size snow pusher for an L2501? My driveway and parking area is all paved, so I' believe I'd be looking for a rubber edge, and I would prefer one of the 'pullback' models where you can flip down and use the other edge to pull back from garage doors.

I was looking at a 6'/24" high, but would really love to hear from someone with an L2501 that's using a pusher today.

I'm also keeping my eye open for a used 3-pt blower to clear the piles I make with the pusher for the bigger snowfalls. I'm in Northeast PA, so snowfall really varies. Many years we often only get 3-4 storms all in the 1-5" range, which seems like it would be no sweat with just the pusher. We have had some epic snows with 25 inches or more, and I know I'd be stuck using the loader to clear/move that in the interim until I find a good deal on a rear blower.

I have both a 5’ and 6’ wide snow pusher. I use the 5’ wide on my L3901 and 6’ wide on my larger MX 5800. I think you will be much happier with a 5’ on your L2501. Both of mine are from Express Steel, you can buy direct or through eBay. They are well made with a rubber edge.

Snow pushing is my second option as I would much prefer a snow blower but use the pusher more in rough or unfinished areas. I run a Woodmaxx rear snowblower at my northern property and clear large areas with it, pusher is not so useful as the snow is often deep and there is no where to push it other than creating big piles of snow. Good luck and wrap up warm.

Thx! 24” or 30”?
Also, you think the 5’ is wide enough to clear around a mild curve to keep the rears out of the snow? I have r4’s

general 'rule of thumb' is 1' wider than the width of the tractor. presumning '25' in L2501 is 25HP it might be a bear to push 5' of wet snow and impossible if 6'wide x 2' tall !

24” high, 5’ width is wide enough. The model I use is an XP24 made by Express Steel it weighs just over 500 lbs, rear ballast is recommended, if you are using it on a finished area I just put the loader in float and push.

Lil late to the dance here, but I run a 72"x36" pusher with my L2501 and it is a BEAST! Have never had an issue pushing snow, also have several YouTube videos of it in action. One where I push 5 passes into a wind row, then push the whole wind row! Wet and heavy, on ice, with no rear chains. I've since added chains and a 68" rear blower, plus a custom flip up 24" back drag blade. I recently added 3" rear wheel spacers for added stability, and for my chains. Now my 68" MK Martin Meteor still cleans a path wider than my current 61" width. I live in Wisconsin, by the way. It snows alot.

I have a 7’ for my L. I feel it’s plenty big enough and yet maneuverable around cars.
