We are looking for a snow blower for our B3200 and are wondering what size PTO blower will work? We did get a tip on a 6ft PTO blower for sale for $700 and are wondering if the tractor will handle it? Any info will help!

Hello Kraftybota:

I recently purchased the B3300SU which is almost identical to the B3200. I purchased Kubota's 64 inch rear-mount blower which is obviously a little smaller than the one you're looking at. However, I personally don't think I'd go any bigger then 64 inches....although the B3200 has lots-o-power, a 6 foot blower may be a little too much.....you don't want to over-stress the engine, 3-point hitch, etc....hope this helps

After looking at your tractor's specs, I came away with 23hp at the PTO and 1655lbs. lift at the 3PT hitch arms. Those are your main constraints when sizing a snowblower. Units in the 60's would probably fit your tractor pretty well based on this. You could probably even run a unit in the 70 inch range making slower passes. That said, I'm pretty sure 7' is a little too much.

That said, if you have an operator's manual, there should be an implement sizing table in there.

Thanks for the replys. We ended up passing on it figuring it was too big for our machine. Going to look for one in the 5ft range.
