What ROPS toolbox are you using?

I'm looking for recommendations on which toolbox to mount to my MX4800. I have searched online and came up with many options, none of which seem to have favorable reviews so I figured I would post here and see what folks are using. My only requirement is that whatever I get, that I can mount it without drilling holes.

I just removed the useless plastic Kubota box on the ROPs crossbar and installed a metal toolbox using ubolt clamps. I did have to add a piece of flat steel to extend the SMV sign further back to avoid the toolbox. I also had room to install a small 50 caliber ammo box in front of the sign next to the tool box using c clamps. I use the ammo box as a glovebox for small items.

Tractor Storage Basket

The idea is very similar to @GeoHorn’s. If you do a search, there have been several discussions here on OTT in the last year or so about tractor storage and tool boxes.

This is same as I have been considering to mount on our L2501 to haul chain saw, gas & oil, chain, etc. Any down side or problems you have found with your setup so far?

NOne at all…. and the basket prevents any items being thrown up by mowers, shredders, etc from getting to the operator.

Here are mine.

Could you post a picture from the other side of your tractor with the shovels and such on it? There's alot going on there, and Im not sure Im seeing it clearly. Is there a basket mounted to the top of your fender with some vertical arms welded to that? Then it looks like your rear remotes are on a seperate bracket? Did you remove turn signals(if you had them)?

I Made a custom basket that holds chain, gloves and stuff. The rack is welded to that.
