Yeah, thats ok, its just one of those "well its there" so Id like to make it work and besides, I may find other uses for the rear remote.............like ummm....a hydraulically actuated sun shade :p

What Ive been wondering is why it has the extra complication of an electrically operated hydraulic circuit instead of just using another valve like on the loader?

That I couldn't tell you exactly why they did it on that model, mine has a factory rear valve and it's mechanical, and I have basically the same tractor as yours.
I know I'll be using that type of valve for my grapple as I can put the control of it right onto the handle of the loader control.

What I'm not sure of is if that valve is strictly on/off solenoids or if they are Voltage to flow variable valves, meaning less voltage = less flow, that would be sweet with the center link to make it a slow adjustment.
The down fall is that the variable control for it would not be cheap, and if they are variable, putting full voltage to them with a simple switch is not going to hurt them at all.

Oh and I'm not knocking you doing it at all, it has way too much future use potential to not set it up!

WOW............
Thats impressive, both the function and that you know all that stuff :)
Thanks very much for the explanation.

So, do you think the electric actuator should work fine for a hydraulic top link using a momentary switch to alter the link length or will it be too fast and twitchy?

Cheers

I can tell you exactly what that stuff is all about!
Wow, I'm impressed .

Vic, thank you for taking the time to fully explain the process. I love this forum and all the knowledgeable people willing to share and help out...

Just tested it with tractor running but with the hose still looped and its switching and you can feel the fluid pumping through the hose :) Sweet!
I think its good to go
Thanks again
