I remember 20 years ago, the European and Australian BX tractors had a unique grass catcher that was a world ahead of the junk that Kubota was marketing in Canada and the US. Somewhere in my office, I have an Australian Kubota brochure picturing it. Kubota markets some nifty items for the BX series in other continents that are not offered in North America. One would think that they could sell a lot more "accessories" if they made them available to the North American market. A good example would be the net behind the operator's seat and the rear-view mirror mounting.
I remember when my brother had a "grey market" Mercedes Benz. He had to source certain parts directly from Germany. Lucky for him he had a German friend that visited the US every couple of months and would bring with him whatever my brother need for his car.
