Hey everyone - DustyRusty is right, its related to the ad system we use here on the site. It's also not exactly expected since we didn't change anything on our end to enable this. I'm following up with the ad team on that end to figure out what might be going on.

If I may sir I'd like to add something you might want to make clear to the ad team which they should make clear to advertisers.( Providing of course that you agree it's presented with an element of deception).

This thing is fashioned different than any I've seen before. IMO they word it such that many will click "confirm" without realizing they are actually granting permission UNLESS they take time to scroll and turn ON all the buttons. Everything I've come across requires button be turned OFF to withhold permission. At least that's how I see it and I believe many folks will unwittingly grant permission because of that deception .
Thank you sir,I leave it in your capable hands.

I don't think this shows Wolf to be negligent. I believe it shows how scamming has become normal business practice.
Never meant to imply any negligence whatsoever. Just quickly reminded me of a time in my life I’d like forget 😉😁.
And I forgot to mention my escort had been there 38 years.

I saw this once on my laptop like I said before. I'm always logged in.

After exiting the first time, I haven't seen it again. I didn't confirm anything or answered the questions.

Haven't seen it on my cell phone.

Both have ad blockers, if that matters.

"Data scraping" is a normal way to pay the bills...there is no such thing as a "free lunch." This is how huge data/personality profiles on individuals are built, by monitoring everything they do everywhere and aggregating it. Ever wonder why you mention something unusual like "dog treats" and within 12 hours you start seeing ads for dog treats? (Vacation stuff is even worse, the A.I. in your phone will almost book it without you.)

The bad thing is Amazon uses the profile to charge you more than others because you'll pay it. I've heard some banks do that with loans which affects vehicle loans, mortgages, insurance premiums (many banks are owned by insurance companies).
