What happened to top link?

My pictures aren't that great. Only have my iPad and dumb cell phone to get pictures. My old Canon quit on me.

The bar that the toolbox sits on got bent by the top link. Top link is undamaged, but the bar on which the toolbox has a crease in it and is slightly bent upwards.

Does the 3ph float through all its range? Figure I must have ran the brush hog into or down a slope requiring it to float up above the top lift point.

Is this the case?

Yes, they all do.

Be happy that one is only $90 to replace. The one I bent on the LX after having it for about an hour is like $300

After I bent the one on the B2601, I threw it in the trash and attached plates to the rops bar to allow clearance for the top link

It is because you used a green implement on an orange tractor. You can't just mix colors like that and not expect the machine to revolt. The machine has feelings also. You should treat it better than a red-headed stepchild!

Yes, you likely did push the rear up somehow, further than it would normally lift on its own.

I have a couple of small tractors that I can tell when the 3pt is all the way up because the top link hits the back of my seat! I'd sure feel if i ran it into something that caused it to lift further than THAT.

Not sure if this would be considered the same issue but I bent mine with the Hydraulic top link, then proceeded to make a mess of it straightening it out. So I flipped top link over so the check valve was on the bottom problem solved but created another issue the PTO cover can't come up as high when connecting the PTO
