Today I saw a nice Kubota with a FEL it was being towed on a trailer. Standing up on one side of the tractor was a box spring, on the other side was a mattress. What does it mean?

Probably using the box springs to level some dirt, and using the mattress on top for somebody to set on!

Some folks use what they have for implements.:D

If I didn’t see your location I would have thought you were in Louisiana. Never know what the hell you see here.

Actually, an old box spring (minus the cloth covering) makes a pretty good drag for leveling a horse arena.:)

Maybe his wife wanted a new bed and he decided to haul it home and save the delivery charge. He was just too lazy to take the tractor off the trailer. Why bother if you don't have to?

Fordtech86, there was a time in my life while living in the country with a 200' ft of driveway on a slight slope and a 10 HP Craftsman mower do to all the chores. I used a box spring with plywood on top (with my wife on it) to drag the snow off the driveway so the car would pull up the slope. It was 12-15" of snow.

That's what we had. That's what we used. And that was in Kansas. We're weird here also!

But it did convince me to get something bigger. Ended up with a B6100 (and I used a 7' rear blade, until I cut it down to 5')

Those were the days!
