Yesterday actually. My tires are due for replacement soon but figured I’d give it a shot on the old ones to see how they work. Took an hour or maybe a little over.

The 3Ms are great, I've got 3 pair of them. Had to buy extras since more than once going under trees they got knocked off and met their fate under the shredder.
I'll give you a new set if you'll just pay postage.
Don't know if you can pm or not, just let me know.
Many Military Veterans have hearing loss from 3M hearing protection...
lied about the noise reduction.

I wouldn't trust any of their products.

The COVID mask information/spec sheet from 3M disappeared right after the government contract was filled. It's interesting how they were somehow ready to fill government orders immediately, kind of like they knew... and then they knew again when government COVID orders would suddenly cease and there was no extra stock and the spec sheet disappeared like it never happened.

They make great consumer products, but when it comes to low bids for government contracts "you get what you pay for."

I almost lost my phone and drove over it with the tractor haha, good thing I stopped in time. Just part of the fun I suppose lol.
Your not a real tractor owner/ operator until you run over your phone, keys, car, shed, garage, out house, home, or mailbox.
DO NOT RUN OVER YOUR WIFE, DOG, NEIGHBORS!!

Good thing I don't have a wife, a dog and neighbors are too far away. Although I almost took out the mail box with the loader lol.

Or…ummm.…drive it straight into a 20” diameter 60’ tall tree that jumped out in front of you.

Stalled it out and I sat there repeating the phrase, “you dumb ass”.

Sounds like a Everything Attachments demo video. :ROFLMAO:
It was sorta funny. I had the front bucket up about 3’ off the ground. The leading edge dug into the bark/tree and it stalled. I had just looked at that damn tree and still hit it square. I got off the tractor and stood there soaking in the stupid I just created…looking at it stuck in the tree trunk. Didn’t hurt anything…started right up…Funny now…

That suit was over ear plugs. Most people don't know how to use them correctly. Years ago I had to attend a mandatory class on hearing protection and found out I wasn't using them correctly.

If I had to wear ear plugs, the way I was taught was to roll them up and then insert into your ear, when they expanded back they formed a tight seal around your ear canal. In the indoor shooting range you need those and over the ear hearing protection, its that bad.

Whacked some more trees at neighbor job again today. Hopefully it freezes hard tonight so that I can get them out in the morning. Made much mud. So, I made sure that I cleaned the tracks out before I left the mini parked there overnight. Didn't want the mud to freeze up the drive motors/tracks.

I got a little too aggressive and bent a hydraulic line on the thumb. Fitting came loose and it started spewing hydraulic oil. Tightened it back up and good to go for now. I'll have to be careful bending it back into place, may just have to replace the hose anyway.

Progress:

Had to be really careful pulling on those vines. I did have a helmet on when I wasn't in the cab. Maybe I'm actually starting to learn something? ;)

All in all it wasn't a bad day to be outside. Wind started kicking up in the afternoon, temps started dropping pretty fast.

The Prohear headphones with gel pads are definitely worth looking into, they also have them in orange.

Respectfully, Prohear looks like a Chinese knockoff of Peltier and Walker products. Looking at their testimonials I don't believe a construction worker wrote a review in perfect marketing speak, and the same goes for the rest of the fake-looking testimonials, which is backed up by Amazon saying "frequently returned item."

I have a set of Walkers for on the range, Husqvarna helmet with built-in hearing pro for sawing, and (this is crazy) SureFire EP4 Sonic Defenders used under Howard Leight Impact Pro earmuffs for running "the world's largest backpack leaf blower." All earmuffs have replaceable parts for lower operating cost, which is how I know about Prohear as I have their gel earpads that fit the Howard Leight earmuffs. I look like that guy on the runway directing airplanes, but it works and works well.

Maybe he used AI to help him!

All those products are made in CHINA, to include 3M

Just remember, 3M is also responsible for millions of folks getting cancer, thanks to 3M your drinking water is most likely polluted from the creation of PFAS/PFOA. If your water is not polluted, I can guarantee you have these chemicals in your liver.
These chemicals are used in many products, including food packaging, non-stick cookware, clothing, cosmetics, carpeting, firefighting foams, and probably 3M headphones, lol.

I'm 81 years old, worked 15 years in a plastics plant making polyethylene and polypropylene, little late to be worrying to much about microscopic particles.

Using the B this morning for material service to feed the new evaporator. 20 degrees low wind and sunny here this morning so feels pretty nice in the sun…
