Yes, please keep the snow in your neck of the woods. I lived in Missoula for a couple of years, where are you that you're seeing snow this early?
About six miles west of Kalispell. :)

I was just outside with a snow shovel in a t-shirt and shorts clearing a spot around the garage in preparation for snow blowing later today. I plugged in the block heater too. It's cold at around 20F but lovely and sunny so really nice. T-shirt weather for sure if you're in sunlight.

I start out most days in the winter by sitting in the hot tub with a cup of coffee, and this was my view as the sun started to come up. :D

We have considered buying a summer retreat up that way. Previously we were considering Maine, but not sure how long my sister in law with MS is gonna make it long term living upp there with 6 months of winter.

Ron - - welcome to OTT! Nice machine.
Thank you....I wanted an 8200 since high school. Found her with low hours and always parked indoors. At some point I would like to add power steering, but she is just so much fun! Cut the grass and could just cry. She cut like my old legacy..... Light paint restoration in spring and some new front deck wheels down the road.

I bought a B8200 in 1985 brand new from Odell Tractor (now a Coleman store) in Independence, Mo. A real nice tractor. Bought it with only a belly mower and a couple years later was able to find a loader for it. I only sold it a few years back because I just had too many tractors and didn't hardly ever use it.

First use of the BTR. Sill fiddling with the loadout but so far I like the versatility and with the receiver I was able to haul my trailer and keep the tools and debris separate.

Must be a record breaking day for October 28th, 80* F here in southern Maine.
Opening day of deer season. The deer would spoil before dragging it out of the woods at this temperature.
So today I changed the oil & filter & fuel filter & greased her up.
Since putting a cab on the step loop seems a little tucked under the tractor when getting out. So took some aluminum angle and expanded steel and
made made a little extension so I'd have more to step on when existing.

After replacing the stove pipe on my wood burning boiler, I got two bucket loads of firewood in the shed and started the boiler up. Haven't had it going this fall yet. I think this is the latest I have started it.

I recorded 86°F on my front porch today, crazy.. and likely gonna see snow on Wednesday.

I "vacuumed" more leaves with the powered bagger, made short work of cleaning up the lawn again - BX also stayed in summer mode while I swapped to winter mode on the Ryobi riding mower.

Worked on the front yard again today. Had about 1/4” of rain early this morning so it was a little slippery on the surface but with more rain forecast for tonight thru Monday, I wanted to get some work done before it’s too wet. I found a concrete footer just below the surface from a previous flowerbed wall so I removed it. I used my 1964 Cub Cadet model 100 and homemade ripper to break up the dirt and small tree roots. I ran out of time so I didn’t get to move much dirt other than hauling off the pile I made yesterday when I peeled off the sod.

I also used the BX to haul a deceased groundhog down the fence row to release it back into the wild. It suffered from an unexpected and fatal case of lead poisoning. I’m assuming it’s the same one that took up residence under my deck last spring just before I started the deck overhaul and expansion. Hadn’t seen it since until yesterday.

Yes I know, we visit ME every so often. Last visited June 2023, but I have a house on the Tx gulf coast 2 hours away with endless blue crab to catch in an unique bay system with great fishing for reds, trout and flounder.
