Ordered a et of LED lights/wiring and received my grill guard because I know without it I'd put a stick through my grill in less than 10 minutes of testing my grapple. Now that I have the guard I'm sure it will remain pristine.

Still at 2.x hours on the tractor since my ground is still too wet to get anything done without leaving ruts everywhere. I made my first payment though.

Ive only stayed in my drive, but worked on my turn around/circle driveway some. My grill gaurd rattles at times. Hinge pin for some reason to. Think im going to drill and add a grade 8 bolt. Not sure why it folds, im sure you guys kniw but it is annoying to me it rattling as i work.

It folds to open the hood. Tighten the hinge bolts.

You have to hinge it forward to provide enough clearance to open the hood. Not trying to dissuade you from adding all the bolts you care to add, but you’ll have to hinge it forward or take it off to open the hood.

By grill guard I meant I bought one of those overpriced (IMO) aftermarket water jet cut shields that bolt to the factory guard. It’s only money.

I’m also now shopping for a pto wood chipper. 😬
There are quite a few here with PTO chippers. Woodmaxx, Woodland Mills, Wallenstein, probably some others. Obviously mine is a Woodland Mills and I’ve been pleased with its performance. Primary suggestion is get something with hydraulic feed. Some swear by double roller. Mine’s a single roller and having many, many hours running a double roller 30 years ago I don’t see any significant difference but not arguing with those who feel otherwise. You may not want a ton of advice. If you do just start a thread asking what chipper you should buy and brace for the onslaught of opinions.

Supposed to be 51 on Sunday, so will move the tractor to the garage, hopefully it will sneak in under the door, then I can attached the mirrors and get the lights mounted and wired in, along with the cruise control switch. I know the lights going on the front will be nice and bright, but I haven't seen how the other set I have look in the dark so may wind up getting another set from Amazon for the rear. If I can figure out how to run wires to the front bracket where the signal light is, I may put the rear ones I have there.

Ok, well after taking the picture i drilled and put a half inch bolt in the same area as the pull pin on the other side. To be honest except at the dealer i never opened the hood.
May just put a half inch hitch pin in there now.
Thanks 😊

Regen today and I decided to make sure I could park and exit and regen would continue. Placed in N, set parking brake, and left throttle high, left the cab. Regen went just fine. All my previous ones occurred while I was working so I just kept on going. Nice to confirm you can at least exit and regen will finish.

Yep. Had mine regen once while we were running it stationary chipping at 540PTO RPM. Didn’t even know it was doing it until I got on to shut down and saw the light. It finished about 30 seconds later so it had to have been at it for a while.

You will be happy you have the grill guard. I have been using my grapple quite a bit & the grill guard has saved me some broken plastic.

Sitting here in my office/workshop doing my daily job and glance up at the shelf behind my desk and what do I see. My bottles of Ceramic coating and GLISS. Guess what will be going on my new tractor as soon is it reaches 70* daily.

My B2410 that is 20 years old still has a nice shine and not faded, and that was waxed yearly, the new one will get ceramic and never be waxed again.

It's also in the 50's here today and I'm itching to do a ton of work with the tractor. Must wait till everything dries out :(
I did install a Lown diff pedal. I don't know about other people but I find I'm really good at having my foot slip off that little bent rod. . .

I had my Harley ceramic coated. Dirt dries rinses right off. Think ill try the spray kind on the tractor. Good idea 💡
Thanks

Today was snow day; no work. Yesterday removing fence posts from the old chicken yard. Then auger holes to plant the posts in the vineyard.

I noticed the carry all I retrieved yesterday from the shed has funky smell. The funk is thawed out dead liquid mouse in bottom of pvc tool holder tube :( .. Heated garage brings this kinda stuff to life.
