1-3 is the recommended Remedy-Diesel mix ratio. Full strength Roundup works OK to prevent resprouting.

I am only 78 and haven't used a wheelbarrow since about an hour ago.

I could easily use that wheelbarrow 3 years ago.
Sadly .....things have changed over the 3 years.

I’m 55 and have never owned a wheelbarrow. Used many in my younger days and hated every minute of using one. Not sure who ever thought a single wheeled, inherently unstable thing was ideal for moving heavy loads. I’m fine with a loader or hand pulled dump cart.

Today I finished the install of a joystick to replace the 2 rocker switches for my snowblower. When I converted the blower to electric chute rotation and deflector control I selected the rocker switches. They work but. . . the extra material at the fingertips of my gloves made it clumsy.

I found the joystick on Aliexpress and initially thought I was going to need a bank of relays to interface it. Turns out their switching description wasn't exactly spot on but perfect for my application, no relays required.

The original two switches:

I used heat shrink to seal it. On the bottom open end I filled it with coaxseal and then painted over with liquid tape.

I need to touch up that bracket - the disk grinder almost wenttru it in an instant.

Installed my top link from @MtnViewRanch. Brian, my measurements were spot on. Thank you for walking me through everything.

Will try and get the side link installed tomorrow if it stops raining. Will work on hose management too.

Congratulations! That’s a great upgrade. Not cheap but worth every penny.

The toplink on a float detent remote has been a game changer for mowing rough areas. I was running the toplink all the way in to cross the creeks, run it back out to mow relatively level but still able to pick it up, and disconnect it to get enough float in the really rough areas. Can do all that now with a quick wrist flick without shutting down or leaving the seat. Area I mowed over the weekend took a little over two hours and cut quality was much more consistent floating most of the time. With conventional toplink took more like four hours to do the same area. If it was all flat probably wouldn’t make that much difference.

The side link similarly increases efficiency grading. Almost surprised it isn’t an option on the deluxe models.

Worth every penny indeed.
I didn’t put a float remote on this tractor, very rarely used it on the LX. With the float the cutter provides, I should be fine. No creeks to cross, and what I mow is mostly flat.

Removed wood chipper and put the box blade on. Reminder to self: remove bucket when backing tractor all the way into the basement of the carriage house to pick up the box blade. Only 2 or 3 inches to either side to avoid having the FEL tip gouge the doors.

Got this installed today in the 70 degree weather. Works great just put two male blade terminals on the wore that came with it and plugged in to the plug up under the interior panel. Had to dremel the hole a little to as the factory hole was only 1 inch. This is 1.25. View attachment 76079

You beat me to it. I got mine last Friday but took a trip to Florida for a couple days so haven't touched the tractor. My mirror mounts arrived, but haven't picked them up yet.

Your welcome to it, I'm just in Ohio I can send it your way instead of holding on to it for 10 years. I don't return stuff.

Thanks, but have one already. Other than making the brackets for the work lights, and the under seat PTO switch, I have everything. I just picked up the rest of the parts to mount the mirrors and have them ready to go on. Still waiting on the 3rd function/quick attach remote kit to arrive.

Ok....thats awesome you have all your a stuff now..i want to add the3rd function at some point. And a grapple. I read these 4060 are set up very well for that, something about the electrical swich uses currrent joystick. I noticed a plug in the top. Your tractor is identical to mine. I use mine every day. Moved more rocks and dirt today. That under the seat pto is so easy to do. I want to get a chipper this spring. Think i have 20 hours on it already.

Ordered 2 bushings and a pin to get rid of a sloppy joint on the BH. I’m probably have to destroy that pin to get it out, it’s seized in the bucket pretty good.

Good thing that I took a little bit of time and read your post. I thought from the pics that you made a bomb and delivery system for your tractor.
