I was at dirt dog just last week picking up some skids for our land leveler at work.
They build one heck of a shipping frame around these things. Took me 2 hours to get it off.

Here’s the Dirt Dog in action. A little wet out but it worked great.

Repaired the idler pulley on my mower deck and fixed an injector that was stuck open due to gunk and rust. No more grey smoke and a solid running engine and tomorrow I may mow the neighbors field just to have fun. I'm all out of grass to mow and I have to checknmy repairs somewhere.

Not sure if anyone else had this problem or not, but my hoe levers on my bh77 backhoe would hit when pushing them towards the outside of the machine. So I cut them and centered them in the hole and re welded them. Now it swings perfectly and the bucket opens properly. Nothing like cutting apart a brand new machine lol
The best time to take a machine apart is when its new, clean and rust free.

Just shy of 2 years now and I am ready for the 800hr PM.

Unlike my 400 though, this time my number 2 son, with certificates from 3 manufacturers now for working on their diesel/hydro systems (primarily fork trucks) is going to do it for me. I will watch of coarse because I am anal about that stuff, but watching should be a step up from doing.

Good for you to get your son in the mix....great thing.

Youngest is a son at 22, but has lived 3 hours away since the start of college. He liked to work on stuff before leaving. His housemate is a Subaru Tech at a large dealership, and my son is an aspiring MD. Daughters @ 29 yo live on each coast....no one local anymore.

800 hrs. in 2 years. Never have to worry about it starting, it never gets cold! 😉 (One of my father's favorite sayings)

All filters and fluids. Have you done fan belt yet?

I got one, but haven't had time to change it. Still hangs in garage, next to the fan belt for 'Moline..... 'Moline will likely win that race.....easier to get at...

Amazing timing.

My son just said, "you have some fraying starting on the outside of the belt, better get a new one ordered".

I have the B2650 and changed the dynamo out to an alternator so I will need to see if it is the same belt. For some reason I think I needed to change it at the time.

Great he caught that.

Yeah - - wouldn't be surprised if a new length.

I was taking inventory of parts and came across a kit to relocate the first filter on a BX. Probably like/similar to yours with cartridge filter.

Had good intent to install in April....along with hydraulic hoses on the Moline, etc., etc....

Can I borrow your son for a few days!?!? ;)

We can feed him VERY well! 🥩🍗🍤🍕

Used my bolt on hooks to drag a wood stove and lift a few things up, and loaded some brush.

Loading up for a dig tomorrow in the "city". Will be using the backhoe for this one since I'll be playing "frogger" crossing a busy street to load out concrete and dirt. Should be interesting playing in traffic...

Got road fabric down at the crack of dawn, then two loads gravel/stay mat. Had enough to do a layer on half the driveway as well. The budget is pretty well shot for the year, next year I’ll get another load to finish the rest of the driveway, and under the car port. 60 yards of bank run fill, road fabric, 30 yards of stay mat. Plenty of rocks fished out of the property for the retaining wall. Next step is to get some more out of the woods.

Over the past week I dug a line for a new 70' French Drain along the base of my driveway as water tends to flow off the hill to the right and saturate that section of the gravel drive. Tooth bar really helped with some of the initial digging.

Gravel, then drain tile with a fabric filter sleeve or as my wife called it "the 70' dirt condom"..... then more gravel to grade.

Finished the first 50' section, need to cut the tile for the last section and install and cover.

The water will empty into our culvert under the drive off to the side (neighbor's house side in pic).

I'll let my wife figure out how to make it all look nice when done.

Today's job didn't go as planned. After cutting out the section so we could pull a new pipe with the power mole, we found a problem in that there was reverse pitch in the pipe. So, more indoor work will be necessary to fix the issue.

Oh well. We tried. Here's a few consolation pics.

NHS, I changed out my dynamo and did an alternator upgrade myself. But I found out that apparently the tractor's hour meter runs off of the original dynamo's ac output. Hence, with the alternator installed the hourmeter didn't work and the charge indicator light stayed on. Since my B2650 was still under warranty at the time I put the dynamo back in place. I have a 12vdc hour meter to install when I re visit the alternator install. The WSM electrical schematic leaves a little to be desired regarding the factory hour meter hookup.
Probably to prevent tampering with?
Did you find a work around for your alternator upgrade regarding the hourmeter and charge indicator? Thanks!

Mounted my new Piranha Tooth Bar on the LX3310.

Is that thing SHARP or what? Got the same bar on my LX. My bucket has 7 holes drilled along the factory edge. I think I'm going to cut the side mounts off and just drill the Piranha for 1/2" taper-head bolts. You'll find that it tends to rattle a little more, regardless of how tight you think it is. I know, it's a tractor, not a Rolls Royce, but vibrating and rattling means rubbing and wear to me. Besides that, bolting it along the factory edge will make it that much stronger. I don't think the LA535 can hurt that bucket anyway, but can't hurt to make sure. I think you'll love what that bar does for the bucket.
