I had an electrician come to wire a second meter and supply box. I watched him on and off from the house. When he was done he started yelling for me to come up. I thought that he wanted to show me his work but nope. His van's battery was dead. The way he was parked, the only vehicle I that could use to jumpstart was my tractor. He was quite pleased to say the least. The way things are with all the restrictions, if he tried to get someone to come and jumpstart him he might have had to camp out in my land for a few weeks

Its either cold windy and frozen or warmer and muddy. But I'm itchy to do something with the tractor. Haven't heard it run for months!

I tried to pry/lift out a boulder at the edge of my driveway but discovered that it was just the tip of a buried mountain.
Just made a mess of the drive and then had to grade/smooth it out before retiring the M back to the shed till the mud dries or h*ll freezes over whichever comes first.:D

I had put off assembling my post auger for eva

but now that its on, I need the box scraper

Was it there when you parked it?

Glass thieves? :p
It was. Kinda bit my own fault. I had taken the hydraulic ram off the door to replace it and didn't tell her. She was moving an old diesel tank an left the door open and the tyre popped it. At least the glass didn't break thanks to all this rain and the soft ground ;)

20* this morning, frozen ground, so I was able to get back to the woodpile and get some more splitting done.
Supposed to see up to 6 inches of snow tomorrow. That would be the one biggest storms this winter/spring/fall:p

Repaired a piece of wrinkled fascia on the shop. Really wish I had a remote to operate all the functions of the tractor

Awesome, wish I had the forks and a remote. Wife is good with the tractor but she would probably pick that time to remember something I did 30 years ago and dump me.

HA!

My son asked his RN wife to run the FEL on the farm (a huge JD) so he could work on the roofline of the barn. While he was standing on the platform he’d made on the forks, she tried to move the stick to suddenly and when the platform “jumped” and startled her. There he was 20 feet in the air and she jumped from the tractor and ran for the house and left him stranded up there!

He said it was a real-trick skinnying back down a FEL to get off that thing. LOL
