In some ways it was a sad day. I sold my Grand L3540 HST-C . I have had it two years and only put 44 hours on it. Been started twice in last 6 months. So it went on Craig's list and sold right off. This weekend they came and got.
Here are the photo's being loaded and on it's way to Maine.

So sorry for your loss. Given what you said, I take it that it's not going to be replaced with a different orange critter? :(

Finally got around to finishing my ballast box and putting on a quick hitch. I got this speeco QH because it had the top link extender to use on this non-QH ballast box. As you can see, it works, but not a quickly as I'd like. Maybe mods are needed in the future, but it will work for now.

Over the weekend, on my BX25, I finished my auxiallary rear double valve install on a bracket off the ROPS base mount, ran the hyd. feed hoses from the backhoe/3pt hitch hoses with quik-couplers in series with the existing system. -Our local Kubota service manager told me of this simple plumb-up method, saving big dollars compared to having the dealer tie in a hard-piped aux. valve. Princess Auto supplied the Open-Center valve body and hoses. I fitted two 12" whip hoses with quik-fits for the output lines, this will power my dump trailer with hydraulic hoist. - Photos of the valve and trailer are in the Fabrication section.

Shaunblake: Yesvthe top link is the slow part. The tubes are for carrying shovels, rakes,etc........but now that you mention it.......I could see an Ohio State flag flying back there on Saturdays this fall:)

Boo OSU. Yay U of M!

I had a bunch of holes from digging stumps with my dad's big orange backhoe. So I took out my little orange (B7100) and tried filling as many as I could. Problem with that was finding all the stumps I missed. Oh well, what's a little more seat time...

I helped the tree removal crew out when around 7pm they decided their plan of picking up all the stump grinding sawdust with a log loading grapple was going to be slow...one of the guys came and got me and asked if I'd get my Bota out and pick the piles up with the loader and put them in the back of their big dump truck. :D:D:D:D way more fun than digging brick out of the dirt along the foundation of the old shed which was my contribution for the afternoon. I was a little slow, but didn't hit the sides of their truck, it was a reach for Miss Bota to get it up that high!

Only fitting for her to help out, this is step one for the beginning of a new barn for the tractor, trailer, and manure spreader, and 5 big black walnuts had to come down. Was sorry about one especially, shaded my sheds for many years. Looks kind of naked back there without them.

My first welding project. Not a very pretty weld, but good penetration so they will not break off. All of 10" of weld not even enough to qualify as practice. Well the fan, wiring, fuel filter and fuel lines are protected. I removed the hardware for the mmm so I could mount the guard plate up high enough to clear the PTO for the front mount snow blower. I should only have to remove the guard for maintenance.

Grouse Feathers,
You might want to consider adding a shield for the filter, it's a common problem that things will break the filters threaded stem off and it's pretty pricey to fix. ;)

Thanks NIW, I do remember a recent thread on that problem. I will pull my guard off and extend it around the filter.

I had a week off work so,
Day 1: mowed at home with BX,
day 2: mowed at our business and ran the weed eater,
day 3: Church,
day 4: I spread 2 loads of gravel for my new implement staging area,
day 5: I cut down a tree at my son's home just down the road from me and hooked up my 4x10 dump trailer to the tractor 3 point hitch drawbar, I also had to use the top link bar to stabilize the drawbar. It kept trying to twist when backing or pulling forward. So much that I thought it was gonna rip the ball out of the hitch.
day 6: I hauled brush to my burn pile till lunch (I got hot),
day 7: I hauled brush till lunch again.

I am back at my job today (resting) till my next off day so I can finish hauling the brush and load up the fire wood. This little tractor has really impressed me with what it can do around our farm.
