What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cut and moved another couple of dead/dying pines at the edge of the driveway and then hauled and spread 2 loads of gravel on trail to the drive shed aka "the mudhole"

Cut an acre and a half of 2 year old gum saplings and poison ivy last night. Oof...

I painted another coat on the backhoe and the loader, so it will be ready for the decals later today. Picked up my newly made cylinder rods, induction hardened, supposed to be able to hit them with a hammer, etc and no damage. Will finish the cylinder rebuild tonight this weekend.

All done for the day.
Dropped the mower and barely got out with the tire lugs full of mud. Grabbed 60 foot of chain and dragged the mower to the road.
And now ruts in the lawn like I have never had.

I was pulling the tractor out when she was pulling in.
Then put the tractor on the road and pulled the mower out.
The grass is knee high in some places. Last year was the same. I tried cutting sooner this year.

I got the chipper on and for the first time since I put the bike trail in last year, did some spring maintenance. In the 1/4 mile of twisty trail, it seems I will have an annual renewal of the path chip, cool. They make a great walking or riding surface, plus you get rid of the dead fall! It's oddly calming work, using the electric chain saw first, then making a pile near the tractor, then the fun part, feeding the chipper. It's still kind of awesome......and then the payoff, spreading the end result.

I was going to reply with what we used to do when we were stuck alone. Had it all typed out too . But when I started explaining the dangers I decided it was best to leave it

Pulled the spindle off the mower and replaced the 3 missing bolts and the one that was about to go missing, this time nylon lock nuts so we shall see

Yep - #1 thing is take off the weight and drag of the cutter. #2 is keep the 4 wheeler in walking distance to help move the mower outta the way and to get a little more bite on the rear and back it out. Front is just going to plow deeper.
