Every news cast has a political "bombshell" report or the weather report is always a disaster is brewing, and it scares people into heading out and stocking up. What a joke.
That's why I don't watch news anymore.

One of my pet peeves too ... along with "increasingly more" or any form of redundancy in a sentence.

People who use "you know" or "like" every other word, which is an indication of a slow clock speed and the need to use fillers so that their brains can catch up with their mouths.

Supposed "influencers" on any form of social media.

Grammar police , libs and lawyers . They are never content unless poking in other people's affairs.

For many years, I was the youngster among my professional peers.

That said, I had more experiences, common sense, and problem-solving abilities than most of them.

I firmly believe being raised a poor farm kid and spending many years in the restaurant business helped me in my professional attitude and abilities.

I enjoyed the role.

That's changed.

Last 10 years realized I'm now the "old man" everyone consults because:

1. They're inept.
2. They have no common sense.
3. They have no ability for independent thought processes or analyses (i.e. problem solving).
4. They have to be spoon-fed direction.
5. They have no desire to bolster any of skills 1-4....(tell me what I should do/think).

Granted, I have many more years in the "system" than most, but they just don't get it.....I see very few of those "youngsters" looking to achieve.

Maybe time for retirement....

People who believe anything without verifying on websites, tv, news, from govt officials, etc. I get that some people are really that dumb and can't help it. Note: there are people on every side of issue that have their blinders on with zero intellectual curiosity.

Not much bothers me that much any more, but on YouTube, I don't like the following. Looking at this list maybe a lot bothers me on YouTube considering how many videos I watch.

Long periods with no talking at the beginning
Continuous attempts to sell merchandise
Continuous sponsored videos to try to sell something
Inserted ads by producers so my Youtube Premium Adblocker doesn't work
People trying to make kids or spouse the star of their channel episode (ok if it's the kids or spouses channel, but I wouldn't be watching it)
Creating a vacation or completely unrelated video when their focus is anything but vacations or what they are doing the video on
Clickbait titles that have nothing to do with the video (I waste time trying to find the topic that doesn't exist)
