Well that turned out better than expected...

Managed to get my custom front protection bar finished today and it has turned out better than i expected for a quick retrofit job.

colour co-ordinated to my B8200 aswell, fits spot on now and the suite case weights hang just right on the side mounts, winch fits in nicely too and the hood opens without conflict with anything without the bar sticking out to far in front.

Job done , it also gives the front end a much more rugged appearance now, more in keeping with its new duties too

thanks for the replies guys, no special skills from me though , i just pickup bits of kit here and there and just decide what i want from it and then messabout with it until it does what i want.....
none of my mods are that good, they just work for me

Looks great, but... yea I know... I would add a roller fairlead on the front to keep the winch cable from hitting the frame.

yep, ordered a fairleader a few days ago as i was having a few issues finding one that was the size i wanted, sorted it in the end and hoping it will arrive shortly.
nice low profile item.
