Hi topgun.Hang in there. From the sounds of it you are doing something right. You have worked your tractor a bit since changing the oil and bringing it back to the proper level. My son has an expression. When asked if it is the oil pump or the water pump or whatever pump that is the problem he says Not necessarily!.Your oil pressure light is on, does that mean my oil pump is gone. Not necessarily!!!!!!!. Like I say hang in there. These guys will help you get it figured out. Have a great holiday and then keep us posted.:D Dusty

Changed out the old original oil pressure switch and BINGO. No more oil light.
Many thanks to whoever suggested this simple and cheap fix!

Ha ha Scott! Good try but it didn't work, I had actually thought about that but remembered that the light comes on when the ignition is on and the motor is not running. I actually listen to what you fellers put on here!

Thanks Scott and that is what I was thinking.

Thanks guys. It's a habbit from the industry I work in. Sometimes we have to continue troubleshooting to actually confirm that the fix is indeed good. And that one deafinitely qualifies as one of those situations.

Take care,
Scott
