Fwiw, I have pallet forks with a single arm grapple. I’m picking up a good jag of logs at a time out of a pile and moving them around. Even without the rear ballast on I don’t have any issues. Sometimes she feels a bit light on the rears so the next one I just try to take a few less. Maybe try your set up without weight before you worry too much about it.
Sounds like good advise.

And would be interested in other of your M7060 specif learnings you want to share.

I do the same most of the time. Keep in mind though that part of the reason for ballast on the 3 point is to lever some of the weight off the front axle.

Don’t forget, radial tires like lower pressures than bias tires to function properly. Sounds like your rougher ride may be from over inflated tires.
