I wanted to add some more weight to the rear of my tractor for ballast while using the loader and for snow plowing.
I added 180# wheel weights to each wheel which helped but I still needed more weight and didn't want it permanent as I use the tractor for raking hay as well.
So, I had a 3 PT adapter with a 2" hitch receiver laying around, an old trailer hitch, 8-44# suitcase weights and some 1/2" plate. Threw this together.

Freewheel3 that’s a nice job and a good use of items you had. I was shocked a few years ago at the cost of those suitcase weights, I purchased some for the front of my L3200 as it does not have a loader.
