Weather/Water proof switch box

I have Googled it with no luck

Does anybody know if and where I can get a 4-5 place weather proof switch box and switches that isn't huge? I want to be able to mount it on my BX24 somewhere. I want it so I can control the extra lighting I want to add.

While we are on the topic of switching....Does anyone know where the flasher/turn signal unit is located on a BX24?

For the BX25, I used a trailer wiring box and drilled it for micros switches that can be purchased on Ebay. All switch connections are in the box. This operates 2 forward LED floods, 2 rearward LED floods and a flashing strobe light.

The box did have a rubber seal but I didn't trust it and added some of my own silicone sealing.

You can get weather/water resistant boxes at Home depot or Lowes, they come in both aluminum and plastic.

A standard household outdoor box ( the grey cast alum ones) with a blank cover plate could work. Drill the cover for toggles and hide the wires behind the gasketed cover.
They make little boots to add extra protection to toggle switches.

Nothing is waterproof. Once moisture gets in, it can't get out, corrosion and failure will soon follow.

Everything you are working with is low-volt and should remain open.

Someone here in just the last week made a very nice switch plate near the rear fender.......look around for it.

The voltage we are talking about is only 12V. So there is no electrical hazzard for you, as long you do not lay you tongue over it The only problem is corrosion and you can prevent that when you put some grease inside the switch. The only things that do waterproof switching is something like a reed-relais with a magnet or an induction switch with a piece of metal. The rest is just covered with rubber and sooner or later you get moisture inside that start the corrosion.

Another solution could also be: By a bunch of cheap switches make them easily replaceable and change them every few years...

You could just drill some holes in a bracket and fix that switchboard to your friend.
